About the Role

Gateway Academy is looking for a compassionate, responsible and motivated professional to join our team. The role involves supporting children in their academic, developmental, behavioural, social and functional needs while working closely with teachers, therapists and parents.

Suitable Qualifications

Candidates with a Bachelor's or Postgraduate qualification in any of the following fields may apply:

- Special Education

- Rehabilitation Therapy / Rehabilitation Sciences

- Social Work – BSW / MSW

- Other relevant allied fields

Key Responsibilities

- Support children in their learning and developmental needs.

- Conduct individual and group-based activities as assigned.

- Assist in implementing individualised intervention plans.

- Observe and document student progress.

- Develop and support communication, social, behavioural and functional skills.

- Coordinate with special educators, therapists, teachers and parents.





- Maintain student records and progress reports.

- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.

- Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues.

- Follow child-centred and professional practices.

Skills Required

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude towards children.

- Positive observation and documentation skills.

- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

- Freshers with the required qualification are welcome to apply.
