E-Commerce and D2C Operations Trainer/SME

We are seeking an experienced e-commerce trainer and subject matter expert to deliver a vocational video course covering marketplace selling, D2C store operations and online retail workflows.

Responsibilities

- Review and validate the supplied course content and video scripts.
- Suggest necessary technical and practical corrections.
- Present the course confidently on camera.
- Record practical software demonstrations using suitable training or sandbox accounts.
- Explain marketplace and D2C workflows in simple, learner-friendly language.
- Participate in rehearsals, content discussions and video-recording sessions.
- Re-record sections when corrections or production improvements are required.
- Ensure demonstrations reflect current platform and industry practices.

Required Experience

- Practical experience with e-commerce marketplaces and D2C stores.
- Knowledge of seller onboarding, product listings, inventory, orders, shipping and returns.
- Familiarity with Amazon/Flipkart seller operations and platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce.
- Understanding of pricing, promotions, settlements, customer support and store analytics.




- Explicit verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence delivering structured lessons on camera.
- Ability to train beginners using realistic business examples.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree or certification in marketing, retail, e-commerce or business management.
- Experience as an e-commerce manager, marketplace seller, D2C operator or consultant.
- Previous training, webinar or educational-video experience.
- Ability to demonstrate workflows using fictional data and sandbox environments.

Engagement Details

- Type: Project-based
- Duration: Approximately 4–6 weeks
- Work involved: Content validation, rehearsals, software demonstrations and video recording
- Recording: Availability for scheduled recording sessions is mandatory
- Compensation: Based on experience and final scope
- Work location: In person

Applicants should share a short introduction, relevant platform experience and, if available, a teaching or presentation sample.

Pay: ₹500.00 - ₹600.00 per hour
