Job Title: Assistant Manager - HR
Location: Head Office - Lower Parel
Experience: 5 - 7 years

Master Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. (MMSPL), established in 1983, began as a proprietary survey business focusing on cargo and container surveying in the Port of Mumbai. Over the years, MMSPL has grown into a prominent service provider with 52 offices located in key Indian cities, ports, and ICDs. The company offers a wide range of services, including bulk and break bulk cargo handling, containerized cargo surveys, stevedoring, pure car carrier operations, container storage and repairs, and CFS management.
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Manager who can effectively manage end-to-end HR operations. The ideal candidate should be smart, presentable, and capable of handling payroll, compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Management: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of salaries.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all labour laws and statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, PT, gratuity, and other regulatory compliances.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates across departments.
- Employee Engagement:
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, activities, and programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- ISO & Audit Compliance: Maintain HR-related documentation as per ISO standards and support internal and external audits.
- HR Operations: Handle employee lifecycle management including onboarding, confirmations, appraisals, exits, and HR documentation.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and update HR policies in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal departments and management to ensure smooth HR functioning.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist role
- Robust knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance, and labour laws
- Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee engagement
- Exposure to ISO processes and audits
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems
- Smart, presentable, and proactive personality

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
