We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support throughout the customer journey, including pre-sales consultation, equipment installation, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and after-sales support.

This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Support

- Provide technical consultation and application support to customers.

- Conduct equipment demonstrations, evaluations, and process trials.

- Assist customers in identifying suitable equipment and solutions for their manufacturing requirements.

- Support the sales team with technical presentations and product recommendations.

Installation & Commissioning

- Perform equipment installation, setup, commissioning, and process buy-off at customer sites.

- Conduct machine testing and validation to ensure operational readiness.

- Provide operator and maintenance training to customers.

After-Sales Service Support

- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, repair, and servicing of equipment.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related machine issues.





- Provide timely technical support and recommendations to minimize equipment downtime.

- Liaise with headquarters and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Customer Relationship Management

- Deliver professional and responsive customer support.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

- Prepare and submit service reports following site visits and service activities.

- Ensure customer issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Experience in industrial equipment servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical support.

- Robust understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and machine software/process flow.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues independently.

- Experience with Pick-and-Place machines, SMT equipment, or industrial automation systems will be an added advantage.

- Proficient in spoken and written English.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Team player with a positive attitude.

- Willing to travel to customer sites as required.
