Job Description – Pre-Press Production Designer

Location Mumbai – Kandivali West

Preferred Candidates: Candidates residing on or near the Western Line

Job Summary

We are looking for a Pre-Press Production Designer to handle artwork preparation, artwork adaptations, signage layouts, pre-production decks, and production-ready files for graphics and signage projects.

The candidate should have a good understanding of site conditions, measurements, layouts, dimensions, and production requirements and be able to convert design concepts into accurate files ready for printing, fabrication, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Graphics & Artwork

 Prepare Elevation Decks based on project requirements and site details.

 Adapt existing artwork as per site conditions, dimensions, sizes, and application

requirements.

 Work on 2D/3D graphics, cut-outs, resizing, positioning, and artwork modifications.

 Prepare Pre-Production Decks with artwork, dimensions, specifications, and visual

references.

 Prepare accurate print-ready and production-ready files.

 Carry out superimposition of artwork on site images/elevations to visualize the final

execution.

 Ensure artwork is accurate and meets the required production specifications.

Signage & Layouts

 Understand and interpret layouts/maps to identify signage locations and requirements.

 Read and understand signage sizes, dimensions, marking locations, and specifications

from layouts.

 Prepare signage artwork based on approved designs and project requirements.





 Prepare Pre-Production PPTs and production files for signage execution.

 Ensure files are suitable for printing, fabrication, and installation.

Coordination

 Coordinate with Sales, CSM/ISM, and Production teams to understand project

requirements.

 Incorporate feedback, changes, and revisions accurately.

 Clarify artwork, size, layout, and production-related requirements when required.

 Ensure artwork and production files are completed accurately and within timelines.

Required Skills

Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

Good understanding of Pre-Press and Production Artwork.

Ability to understand layouts, measurements, elevations, and site conditions.

Experience in preparing production files and Pre-Production Decks.

Knowledge of signage artwork and production requirements.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

12th/Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
