Position: Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can create engaging, high-quality video content for Instagram, YouTube, short films, promotional content, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and cinematic edits.
- Add transitions, effects, sound design, subtitles, and color corrections.
- Create motion graphics and animated elements using After Effects.
- Understand pacing, storytelling, music synchronization, and visual composition.
- Work with raw footage and transform it into polished final content.
- Collaborate with the content, creative, and social media teams.
- Maintain consistency in editing style, branding, and visual quality.
- Deliver projects within given deadlines.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Understanding of Motion Graphics and Animation.




- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
- Strong sense of timing, creativity, and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Experience

- 6 months to 1 year of skilled/freelance experience in video editing.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio/showreel are preferred.

Qualifications

- Any degree/diploma in Media, Film, Animation, Visual Communication, Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant skills and portfolio will be considered even without a related degree.

Preferred

- Experience editing Reels, Shorts, advertisements, music videos, or short films.
- Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of current social media content trends.

Salary: As per experience and skill level.
