Job Summary

DES-TECH ACADEMY is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Course Counsellor / Telecaller to join our admissions and student counselling team. The role involves communicating with prospective students, understanding their career goals, explaining suitable courses and supporting the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on enquiries.
- Handle incoming calls and provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, duration, fees and career opportunities.
- Counsel prospective students based on their educational background and career objectives.
- Convert qualified enquiries into course admissions through effective follow-up.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students through phone, WhatsApp and other approved communication channels.
- Schedule counselling sessions and campus visits where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups and admissions in the institute's CRM or tracking system.
- Meet assigned enquiry follow-up and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and administration teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Provide timely feedback on student enquiries and market responses to the management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Diploma / Graduate.




- Previous telecalling experience is required.
- Experience in educational counselling, admissions, sales or telecalling will be an advantage.
- Strong Malayalam and English communication skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently explain course-related information.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with WhatsApp, email and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain systematic follow-ups and enquiry records.
- Self-motivated, positive and comfortable working with performance targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates who enjoy communicating with students and parents.
- Candidates with a persuasive but professional communication style.
- Experience in an educational institute, training centre, EdTech company or similar environment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant telecalling experience may also apply.
