Job Summary

Responsible for accurate batch coding, printing, verification, and documentation of batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, MRP, and other required details on agrochemical products and packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor batch coding/printing machines during production and packing.
- Print accurate Batch No., Mfg. Date, Expiry Date, MRP, and other product details as per approved specifications.
- Verify coding accuracy before and during production runs.
- Ensure correct coding as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR), packing instructions, and approved artwork.
- Check print quality, readability, alignment, and placement of codes.
- Maintain batch coding records and production documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and Packaging teams for coding-related activities.
- Immediately report incorrect, unclear, or defective coding to the concerned supervisor/QA.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of coding materials such as ink, cartridges, ribbons, and other consumables.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of coding machines.
- Follow SOPs, GMP, safety procedures,



and company quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the coding/packing area.
- Support line clearance and coding verification activities.
- Ensure no mix-up of product, batch number, or packaging material during operations.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass or equivalent.
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Printing, or related fields will be an advantage.

Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in batch coding, packaging, production, or a similar role.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, chemical, FMCG, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of batch coding and packaging operations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand production documents.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production requirements.
- Knowledge of coding machines such as Inkjet, Laser, TTO, or similar printers will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
