- Knowledge of PEB fabrication processes
- Production planning & shop floor management
- Cost control & data analysis
- Leadership and coordination skills
- Lean / 5S / process improvement knowledge

Job Responsibilities

1. Operational Responsibilities

- Lead daily plant operations (fabrication, production, dispatch)
- Plan and control production as per project timelines & erection schedules
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOM & revisions
- Monitor production, WIP, and backlog
- Ensure timely dispatch aligned with site requirements
- Coordinate with Design, QA/QC, Stores, and Project teams
- Optimize manpower and machine utilization.

2. Financial Responsibilities

- Monitor and control cost per MT
- Ensure effective material utilization and minimize wastage/scrap
- Control overtime and labour cost
- Manage plant budget (OPEX/CAPEX)
- Track and improve productivity and operational efficiency

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards in fabrication processes
- Minimize rework, rejection, and defects
- Enforce plant safety policies and secure working practices
- Ensure compliance with statutory and EHS norms
- Drive continuous improvement (5S, Lean practices)

4. People & Strategic Responsibilities

- Lead, develop, and manage plant team
- Monitor manpower productivity (Payroll v/s Direct Hours)
- Handle employee discipline, engagement, and grievances
- Drive performance culture and accountability
- Align plant operations with company goals and industry best practices
- Identify improvement opportunities in process, technology, and efficiency
