A speech therapist, or speech-language pathologist (SLP), assesses, diagnoses, and treats children and adults with communication, voice, language, and swallowing disorders. They create custom care plans, run therapy sessions, and teach patients and families exercises to improve speech clarity, language understanding, and safe eating.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate Patients: Test and observe patients to find speech, sound, fluency, or swallowing problems.
- Build Treatment Plans: Design custom goals and exercises for each patient.
- Provide Therapy: Guide clients through vocal, articulation, and muscle-strengthening exercises.
- Track Progress: Write notes on patient sessions and update care plans over time.
- Educate Families: Teach parents and caregivers home strategies to support ongoing progress.




- Collaborate: Work with teachers, doctors, and other health professionals.

Job Requirements

- Education: Master's degree in speech-language pathology or speech therapy.
- Licensing: Valid state license, registration, or national certification (like CCC-SLP).
- Skills: Strong active listening, patience, clear communication, and record-keeping abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
