Job Summary

AWISH Dermacare Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an innovative and research-oriented R&D; Manager responsible for continuously improving surgeries, products, machines, technology, and clinical processes.

The core objective is to identify what can be improved, invented, automated, or enhanced through AI and technology and convert these opportunities into practical and measurable innovations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medical & Surgical Innovation

- Research and improve existing surgical procedures and protocols.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, patient experience, and outcomes.
- Research and develop new surgical techniques and procedures in collaboration with qualified clinical teams.
- Identify unnecessary manual steps and opportunities for technology-assisted workflows.

2. Product Research & Innovation

- Continuously analyze and improve existing products.
- Identify unmet patient/customer needs and develop new product concepts.
- Develop products from research → concept → prototype → testing → validation → implementation.
- Create a continuous improvement roadmap for existing products.

3. Machine & Technology Development

- Identify opportunities to develop new medical machines and technologies.
- Improve existing machines and processes.
- Explore robotics, sensors, software, computer vision, AI, and automation opportunities.




- Work with doctors, engineers, software/technology teams, and external partners to develop prototypes.

4. AI & Process Automation

- Identify manual and repetitive processes that can be replaced or assisted by AI/technology.
- Find opportunities to automate clinical and operational workflows.
- Continuously evaluate:
- Manual Work → AI/Technology → Automation → Testing → Implementation
- Focus on reducing time, manual effort, errors, and operational costs while maintaining appropriate safety and human oversight.5. Medical Research & Clinical Validation
- Conduct medical and product research.
- Perform literature and evidence-based research.
- Develop research proposals and protocols.
- Coordinate clinical validation/trials where required.
- Work with doctors, researchers, institutions, and regulatory professionals.
- Convert research findings into practical improvements.

6. Patent & Innovation Management

- Identify potentially patentable innovations.
- Maintain an Innovation/IP Register.
- Coordinate with patent professionals for IP protection and patent filing.
- Track patents and innovation documentation.




- Identify opportunities for commercialization of developed technologies.

7. R&D; Roadmap & Innovation Pipeline

- Maintain a structured pipeline of R&D; projects.
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual R&D; roadmaps.
- Track projects from Idea → Research → Prototype → Testing → Validation → Patent/IP → Implementation.
- Ensure ideas are converted into measurable outputs rather than remaining only as concepts.

The R&D; Manager should continuously be able to answer:

What surgery are we improving?
What new surgery are we developing?
What product are we improving or inventing?
What machine are we building or improving?
What manual work can AI or technology replace?
Which processes can be automated?
What innovation can we patent?
What measurable improvement has R&D; created?

Core ObjectiveR&D; should function as the Innovation Engine of AWISH — continuously improving surgeries, products, machines, technology and processes while creating new, scalable, clinically validated and commercially valuable innovations.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
