Job Summary
The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for driving student admissions,
expanding the institution's market presence, building strategic partnerships, and achieving
regional revenue and enrolment targets. The role involves managing business development
activities across the branches, identifying new growth opportunities, strengthening
institutional relationships, leading regional teams, and executing marketing and admissions
initiatives to enhance the institution's brand visibility and market share.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Develop and implement regional business development strategies to achieve
admission and revenue targets.
- Identify new markets, business opportunities, and expansion areas.
- Generate quality student enquiries through various online and offline channels.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of prospective students and institutional partnerships.
- Monitor regional market trends and competitor activities.
2. Student Admissions & Enrolment
- Drive admissions by working closely with the admissions counselling team.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual admission targets.
- Monitor enquiry-to-admission conversion rates.
- Improve admission funnel efficiency across all centres within the region.
- Develop initiatives to increase student enrolment.
3. Institutional & Corporate Partnerships
- Develop relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centres, training institutes, and
corporate organizations.
- Build strategic alliances for student referrals and academic collaborations.
- Identify opportunities for corporate training and executive education programs.
- Maintain long-term relationships with institutional partners.
4. Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Coordinate regional marketing campaigns with the marketing department.
- Organize seminars, education fairs,
workshops, career guidance programs, and
promotional events.
- Increase regional brand awareness through strategic promotional activities.
- Support digital marketing initiatives by identifying local promotional opportunities.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate regional business development executives and admission
teams.
- Set individual and team KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and service standards.
6. Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, educational institutions, and key
stakeholders.
- Resolve escalated student or partner concerns professionally.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the admission journey.
7. CRM & Sales Pipeline Management
- Manage the regional CRM database and ensure data accuracy.
- Track enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and conversion ratios.
- Monitor lead allocation and counsellor productivity.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure timely follow-up of all enquiries.
8. Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends.
- Analyse competitor pricing, courses, promotional activities, and admission strategies.
- Recommend business strategies based on market intelligence.
9. Budget & Resource Management
- Plan and manage regional business development budgets.
- Optimize marketing and promotional expenses.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
10. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
- Present regional performance dashboards to management.
- Track KPIs including Lead Generation, Conversion Rate, Admissions, Revenue and ROI
11. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and business information.
- Ensure ethical business practices across all operations.
12. Innovation & Growth
- Identify innovative business development opportunities.
- Recommend current products, programs, and market expansion strategies.
- Adopt technology and automation to improve productivity.

Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Admissions, or Marketing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading regional or multi-location teams.
- Experience in the Education, EdTech, Higher Education, or Training sector is preferred.

of organizational growth, admissions objectives, business expansion, and operational
