Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Engineer with around 5 years of hands-on experience in building and supporting enterprise data integration solutions. The candidate should have robust expertise in SQL, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle), ETL processes, IBM Unica, and exposure to AWS cloud services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and enhance ETL workflows using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle).

* Build data pipelines to extract information from multiple source systems and load it into target databases/data warehouse environments.

* Develop complex and efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, joins, views, and database processes.

* Work with IBM Unica data and integration processes as required for campaign and customer-related data flows.

* Perform data cleansing, transformation, standardization, validation, and reconciliation across source and target systems.

* Analyze data discrepancies and investigate ETL failures, incorrect records, and processing issues.

* Monitor scheduled ETL workflows and ensure successful completion of daily/periodic data loads.

* Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring data or job failures.

* Identify opportunities to improve ETL performance, SQL execution time, and overall data-processing efficiency.

* Support ETL deployments, job scheduling, production releases, and post-deployment validation.

* Work with AWS-based data environments and support cloud-related data integration activities.

* Collaborate with application, database, reporting, business,



and other technology teams to resolve integration issues.

* Prepare and maintain technical documentation covering ETL mappings, workflows, data flows, and operational procedures.

Required Technical Skills:

1. 5+ years of experience in ETL, Data Integration, or Data Engineering.

2. Strong practical knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.

3. Hands-on experience with Pentaho Data Integration (PDI/Kettle), including transformations and jobs.

4. Good understanding of ETL architecture, data pipelines, data warehousing, and dimensional data concepts.

5. Experience working with data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation processes.

6. Working knowledge of IBM Unica and its integration/data-processing requirements.

7. Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based data environments.

8. Knowledge of SQL and ETL performance tuning and optimization techniques.

9. Experience with job scheduling, monitoring, deployment, and production support.

10. Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience handling large-volume data processing environments.

* Understanding of batch processing and scheduled data workflows.

* Knowledge of data quality and reconciliation frameworks.

* Experience investigating data lineage and identifying issues across multiple systems.

* Familiarity with production support and incident-management processes.

* Ability to understand existing ETL frameworks and independently enhance them.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
