Organization Summary
TEACH was established in 2016 as a non-profit organization. Our vision is to build an equitable ecosystem for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Our mission is to facilitate higher education for them that helps them lead their lives independently and successfully, and assisting them in their personal, professional, and social development.
We currently operate across three campuses in Mumbai, Delhi and Pune, and our vibrant community comprises 400+ students. Our student programs cover the following three pillars: Higher education, Skills development, and Aptitude development.

Role Summary
The HR Executive will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations across the employee lifecycle, maintaining accurate HR data and MIS, and supporting compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
The role requires someone who is process-oriented, comfortable with data, solid in documentation and compliance, and sensitive to the people needs of a purpose-driven social-sector organization
Responsibilities
1. Manage employee documentation from onboarding through separation.
2. Coordinate joining formalities, induction, confirmation, transfers and exits.
3. Maintain accurate employee records,
personnel files and HRMS data.
4. Manage attendance and leave records and provide necessary inputs for payroll processing.
5. Issue HR documentation including appointment, confirmation, increment, transfer, experience and relieving letters.
6. Respond to employee queries related to HR policies and processes
7. Maintain accurate and timely HR MIS and employee databases.
8. Prepare monthly HR dashboards and management reports.
9. Track key metrics including headcount, attrition, retention, absenteeism, vacancies, recruitment status and employee movement.
10. Maintain recruitment, onboarding, probation and exit trackers.
11. Ensure data accuracy across HRMS, payroll and employee records.
12. Support management with HR data and analysis for decision-making.
13. Support and monitor compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
14. Maintain a structured HR statutory compliance calendar.
15. Coordinate requirements relating to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, Bonus, POSH and other applicable statutory provisions.
16. Maintain statutory documentation, registers and employee records.
17. Coordinate with consultants/vendors, wherever applicable, for statutory filings and compliance.
18. Support internal, statutory and donor-related HR audits.
19. Keep track of changes in employment regulations and highlight their implications for HR policies and practices.
20. Support end-to-end recruitment for assigned positions.
21. Coordinate job postings, candidate screening,
interviews and documentation.
22. Maintain recruitment MIS and track turnaround time for open positions.
23. Ensure a structured and positive onboarding experience for new employees
Employee Engagement and People Processes
1. Support employee engagement, recognition and organizational culture initiatives.
2. Coordinate employee surveys and related action trackers.
3. Support performance management and annual appraisal processes.
4. Assist in implementing HR policies and people initiatives across locations.
5. Support employee communication and HR events as required
Education and Experience:
1. Graduate/Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Management or related discipline.
2. 2–3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist/HR Operations role.
3. Prior exposure to an NGO, education, social impact or development-sector organisation would be an advantage.
4. Working knowledge of applicable Labour Laws and statutory HR compliance is essential.
5. Experience working with HRMS and strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and HR MIS.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
