Our Stack

One language end-to-end. The cloud CSMS is CitrineOS (TypeScript, Linux Foundation Energy) speaking OCPP to our chargers; charger firmware runs EVerest (LF Energy) on Linux-class units and a lightweight OCPP client on MCU-class units. The app never talks to the CSMS directly — it talks to a dedicated Node + TypeScript backend-for-frontend that owns auth, tariffs, payments and a realtime session gateway.

- App: React Native + Expo (EAS), TypeScript — default choice, open to a merits-based challenge from you.
- Device link: BLE provisioning and local control fallback; WebSocket/push for live session data.
- Backend you integrate with: Node/TypeScript BFF · GraphQL/REST · shared type definitions.
- Platform underneath: CitrineOS CSMS · OCPP 1.6J & 2.0.1 · EVerest firmware · PostgreSQL· RabbitMQ.
- Payments: Razorpay / UPI (autopay mandates, Scan&Charge guest flows).

What We Are Looking For

- 6+ years mobile engineering; at least one connected-hardware app shipped to production (smart home, wearables, appliances, EV, medical…).




- Hands-on with BLE provisioning, flaky device connectivity, and firmware/app version skew — with opinions formed the hard way.
- Production realtime experience: WebSockets, push pipelines, optimistic UI, reconnection logic.
- Solid React Native + TypeScript (preferred) or deep Flutter with willingness to argue the stack on merits.
- Payments integration in a consumer app (UPI/Razorpay a plus).
- Release ownership: store submissions, staged rollouts, crash triage, analytics.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, direct work with founders, and hiring/mentoring a small team.

Nice to Have

- EV charging / energy domain exposure (OCPP, EVSE, home energy) · offline-first architecture.
- Expo/EAS in production · native modules (Bluetooth, background tasks) on iOS and Android.
- Early-stage or founding-engineer experience.
