Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs for our new application. The candidate will work closely with the Frontend, Mobile, QA, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.

- Design and optimize MySQL/MongoDB databases and queries.

- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.

- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, SMS, email, and other services.

- Fix bugs, improve existing functionality, and optimize application performance.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Perform API testing and support the QA team during testing.

- Participate in code reviews, deployment, and production support.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick solutions.

coding standards, and development best practices.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Backend Development.

- Strong experience with PHP/Laravel.

- Valuable knowledge of Node.js/NestJS is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of MySQL/MongoDB.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication, and authorization.

- Experience with Git and CI/CD.

- Good understanding of application security and performance optimization.

- Experience with AWS/Linux server environments is an advantage.

Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred

Experience with Redis, Docker, AWS, payment gateways, third-party API integrations, micro services, queues, and CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage.
