Key Responsibilities

SPF Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) environments, including patches and upgrades.
- Manage user roles, access permissions, and security configurations using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Perform SPF system health checks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors to ensure system stability and performance.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and ensure high availability of the SPF system.

SPF Development and Customization

- Develop and customize SPF data models, workflows, and object definitions based on business requirements.
- Configure and optimize SPF reports and dashboards for effective engineering data visualization.
- Develop and deploy custom automation scripts or tools to streamline engineering data management.
- Enhance system functionality by building templates, methods, and interfaces using SPF tools.
- Integrate SPF with other tools, including Smart 3D, SmartPlant P&ID;, SAP, and third-party systems.

Workflow Development

- Design and implement complex SPF workflows to automate processes such as:
- Document approvals
- Change management processes
- Revision and lifecycle control
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows to improve process efficiency.

Data Management and Integrity

- Oversee data migration and ensure smooth transfer of legacy data into SPF.
- Ensure data integrity by enforcing business rules, validation checks, and quality control processes.
- Manage and resolve issues related to SPF data inconsistencies and conflicts.

Collaboration and Communication

- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and project management teams to gather requirements and deliver SPF solutions.
- Provide end-user support, including training sessions and creating user manuals.
- Liaise with Hexagon support teams for issue resolution and product enhancements.





Key Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

- Expertise in SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) administration, customization, and configuration.
- Strong understanding of the SPF data model, objects, relationships, methods, and business rules.
- Proficiency in developing and managing workflows within SPF.
- Hands-on experience with integration of SPF with Hexagon tools (Smart 3D, SmartPlant P&ID;, SmartPlant Instrumentation) and other enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with custom report development using tools like Crystal Reports or equivalent.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as VBScript, PowerShell, or .NET for automation.

Industry Knowledge

- Strong understanding of oil and gas industry standards and engineering data management.
- Knowledge of engineering workflows related to asset lifecycle management, document control, and change management.

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and end users.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid documentation and presentation skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (or equivalent).
- Certifications in SmartPlant Foundation or other Hexagon PPM tools are a plus.
- 5–10 years of experience in SmartPlant Foundation development, administration, and support.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in implementing SPF solutions in the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with data migration projects involving legacy systems.
- Working knowledge of integration middleware tools or SAP connectors.
- Experience with large-scale projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per month
