Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake & SQL DBA with 5-8 years of experience in database administration, performance tuning, data warehousing, and cloud-based database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering, monitoring, securing, and optimizing Snowflake and SQL Server environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of business-critical databases.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Administration Manage and administer Snowflake Data Cloud environments. Configure and maintain Snowflake databases, warehouses, schemas, roles, and security policies. Monitor Snowflake performance and optimize warehouse sizing, query performance, and storage utilization. Implement data sharing, cloning, replication, and failover strategies. Manage Snowflake user access, RBAC, and data security controls. Perform cost optimization and resource monitoring activities. Support data loading and integration processes using ETL/ELT tools. Implement Snowflake best practices for governance, security, and performance. SQL Database Administration Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments. Required Skills

Snowflake

Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and administration.




Experience with Snowflake security, RBAC, masking policies, and data governance.
Knowledge of Snowflake Time Travel, Fail-safe, Streams, Tasks, and Dynamic Tables.
Experience monitoring and optimizing Snowflake workloads.
Understanding of Snowflake cost management and performance optimization.

SQL Server

Robust hands-on experience with SQL Server Administration.
Expertise in SQL query tuning and database performance optimization.
Experience with backup/recovery, HA/DR, Clustering, and Always On.
Strong knowledge of database monitoring and troubleshooting.

Cloud & Data Warehousing

Experience with Azure platforms.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
Experience with data migration from on-premises databases to cloud platforms.
Knowledge of data integration tools such as Informatica, Matillion, ADF, SSIS, or similar tools.
Other Requirements

Nice to Have

Experience supporting 24x7 production environments.
Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
