Job Summary

The Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day workshop operations, allocating jobs to technicians, monitoring repair progress, ensuring quality standards, and achieving workshop productivity and customer satisfaction targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily workshop operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Allocate repair jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles before and after repair to ensure quality standards.
- Diagnose and support technicians in resolving technical issues.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and additional repairs.
- Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
- Monitor technician productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to manufacturer/dealership repair procedures.
- Conduct final inspection and road-test vehicles when required.
- Reduce repeat repairs and ensure customer complaints are properly resolved.
- Maintain workshop discipline, safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
- Monitor pending vehicles, delayed jobs, and ageing repair orders.




- Support the Service Manager in achieving workshop targets.
- Train and guide technicians to improve technical skills and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

Candidate Profile

- Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience: 3–7 years in an automobile dealership/workshop.
- Experience as Workshop Supervisor / Floor Supervisor / Job Controller / Senior Technician / Senior Service Advisor will be preferred.
- Solid knowledge of passenger car mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Valid driving licence preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹42,851.37 per month
