Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Resource with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, SD, FI, and VIM (Vendor Invoice Management). The candidate will be responsible for technical development, cross-module integration, enhancements, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.

The role requires strong collaboration with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop scalable technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP solutions using ABAP.
- Work extensively across SAP SD, FI, and VIM modules.
- Develop technical solutions for business requirements, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Work on cross-module integration between SD, FI, VIM, and other SAP components.
- Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Prepare Technical Specifications and development documentation.
- Develop and maintain:
- ABAP Reports
- Interfaces
- Enhancements
- User Exits / BAdIs
- BAPIs / RFCs
- Forms
- Workflows
- Data migration and conversion programs
- Support integration scenarios between SD and FI, including billing and accounting-related processes.
- Work on VIM-related technical developments, interfaces, workflows, and enhancements.
- Perform technical analysis and root-cause investigation for SAP issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, testing, and production environments.
- Coordinate with functional consultants during SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.




- Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance analysis, and technical optimization.
- Provide production support and resolve critical incidents within agreed timelines.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement permanent technical fixes.
- Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and other technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards.

Required Technical Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong experience in SAP SD and FI technical development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management).
- Strong understanding of cross-module integration.
- Experience in developing and supporting SAP enhancements and custom objects.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Solid understanding of SD and FI integration.
- Experience in defect analysis, resolution, and production support.

SAP VIM Skills

- Hands-on experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) for SAP.
- Understanding of VIM invoice processing and workflow concepts.
- Experience working on VIM enhancements, interfaces,



and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to integrate VIM processes with SAP FI and related business processes.
- Experience supporting VIM issues in testing and production environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/OData and modern SAP development technologies.
- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, and performance optimization is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, migration, AMS, or support projects.
- SAP ABAP certification is an added advantage.

Testing & Production Support

- Support unit testing, integration testing, SIT and UAT.
- Analyze and resolve defects identified during testing.
- Perform technical root-cause analysis for production incidents.
- Provide timely fixes and support emergency/critical production issues.
- Ensure changes follow appropriate development, testing, and deployment procedures.
