Part-Time Script Writer / Content Writer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Script Writer / Screenwriter to work with us on two creative adaptation projects:

- Turn an existing film script into a 6-part episodic series.
- Adapt an existing children’s adventure book into a feature-film screenplay.

We are looking for someone with strong storytelling instincts who understands how to develop characters, write natural dialogue and adapt an existing story for a different format without losing what makes the original work.

Key Responsibilities

- Restructure an existing film script into an engaging 6-episode series.
- Develop episode storylines, character arcs, additional scenes, pacing and cliffhangers.
- Adapt a children’s adventure book into a feature-film screenplay.
- Write natural, age-appropriate dialogue and engaging visual scenes.
- Keep the original characters, tone, story world and creative vision consistent.
- Work with the team on feedback and script revisions.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in screenwriting, film, television or children’s content.
- A positive understanding of both episodic and feature-film storytelling.
- Experience adapting existing material for the screen.
- Strong dialogue, character development and storytelling skills.
- Experience with children’s/family entertainment or adventure stories would be an advantage.
- A strong portfolio of previous scriptwriting or screenwriting work.

Human-Led Writing & AI Use

We want the creative work to come from the writer first. The original story development, conversations, character interactions, scenes and dialogue should be genuinely human created.

AI can be used to enhance,



refine or polish dialogue that the writer has already created, but it should not be relied upon to generate the original conversations, storylines or core creative ideas.

Working Arrangement

Ideally, we would like the writer to work from the office at least 2 days per week, where possible. Coming to office and report to Vinod Kumar, India Delhi Office Manager,

Contract & Pricing

This is a project-based contract role, with each project contracted and priced separately based on the agreed scope, deliverables and timeline.
