Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled MS SQL Developer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing databases and SQL queries. The candidate will work closely with application, IT, MIS, and business teams to ensure accurate, secure, and productive management of company data.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.

· Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.

· Create and maintain database tables, indexes, triggers, and relationships.

· Monitor database performance and troubleshoot SQL/database-related issues.

· Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation as required.

· Develop and maintain SQL reports and data-driven solutions.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and integrity.

· Perform database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities.

· Identify and resolve performance issues through query and database optimization.

· Support integration of SQL databases with business applications and reporting systems.

· Work with MIS and other departments to provide required data and reports.

· Maintain proper documentation of databases, queries, procedures, and processes.

· Assist in database migration, upgrades, and implementation projects.





· Follow company policies related to data security and confidentiality.

Required Skills

· Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server.

· Excellent knowledge of SQL queries.

· Hands-on experience with Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, and Indexes.

· Knowledge of database design, normalization, and relationships.

· Good understanding of database performance tuning.

· Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.

· Experience in troubleshooting SQL Server issues.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools will be an advantage.

· Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

· Relevant certifications in SQL Server/database technologies will be an advantage.
