PGT Computer Science Teacher

Location: SVS Vidya Mandir World School, OMR, Chennai

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach senior secondary students (Grades XI & XII) as per the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students in programming, computer science, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Computer Science for Grades XI & XII (CBSE).
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, question papers, and practical assessments.
- Deliver engaging classroom and laboratory sessions.
- Guide students in Python programming, SQL, Data Structures, and Computer Networks.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Maintain academic records and practical files.
- Participate in school events, PTMs, workshops, and professional development activities.




- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

- M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology (with B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Skills Required

- Strong programming and analytical skills.

- Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring students.
- Team player with a positive attitude.

Experience: 2–5 years (CBSE experience preferred)
