Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our Design & Product Development team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for taking luxury lighting and bespoke installation concepts from initial ideation and sketching through 3D modelling, prototyping, technical development, and final execution.

This role is ideal for a designer who combines creative thinking with strong technical understanding and has a genuine passion for luxury design, materials, craftsmanship, sculpture, and innovative product development.

You will work closely with architects, interior designers, clients, artisans, manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to develop high-quality, production-ready lighting products and bespoke installations.

Key ResponsibilitiesConcept Development & Design Research

- Conceptualize innovative lighting fixtures, home accessories, and bespoke installations through sketching and ideation.
- Develop original product concepts aligned with the brand's luxury design language.
- Research global trends in luxury design, architecture, interiors, materials, and contemporary art.
- Explore materials including glass, metal, stone, ceramics, wood, and luxury finishes.
- Create mood boards, material palettes, references, swatches, and design narratives.
- Develop concepts with strong consideration for form, proportion, scale, functionality, and spatial relationships.

3D Modelling & Technical Development

- Create detailed 3D models, product visualizations, and photorealistic renders.
- Develop designs considering scale, proportions, finishes, lighting effects, and installation requirements.
- Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and production documentation.
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product specifications.
- Understand manufacturing processes, material limitations,



fabrication techniques, and structural requirements.
- Convert creative concepts into technically feasible and production-ready designs.

Prototyping & Vendor Coordination

- Work closely with manufacturers, fabricators, artisans, and specialist vendors during product development.
- Coordinate with traditional Indian glassblowers and craftsmen for prototyping and sampling.
- Review prototypes, samples, finishes, and materials against approved design concepts.
- Identify and resolve design or manufacturing challenges.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the product development process.

Client & Project Support

- Create design presentations for architects, interior designers, luxury clients, and HNWIs.
- Support sales and business development teams with product concepts, renders, technical information, and design proposals.
- Develop customized and bespoke product solutions based on client requirements.
- Present design concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure design intent is maintained through execution.

Marketing & Brand Support

- Create high-quality product renders, sketches, visual assets, and design content for marketing and PR.
- Support the creation of content for catalogues, websites, social media, exhibitions, presentations, and campaigns.
- Ensure all visual assets maintain a premium and sophisticated design aesthetic.

Documentation & Archive Management

- Maintain organized digital and physical archives of:
- CAD files
- 3D models
- Technical drawings
- Renders
- Material references
- Product specifications
- Prototypes and samples
- Production documentation




- Maintain proper file organization and version control throughout the product development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–5 years of relevant professional experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, Lighting Design, Furniture Design, Interior Products, or related fields.
- Experience in luxury lighting, interiors, furniture, architecture, or premium product design will be preferred.
- Strong conceptual design and sketching skills.
- Excellent understanding of form, proportion, scale, composition, and spatial relationships.
- Strong knowledge of materials such as glass, metal, stone, ceramics, wood, and luxury finishes.
- Understanding of manufacturing, fabrication, prototyping, and production processes.
- Basic to good understanding of electrical and lighting fundamentals.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Hands-on approach to design development and execution.

Adobe Creative Tools:

- Adobe Photoshop – Strong proficiency
- Adobe Illustrator – Strong proficiency

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating product development, 3D modelling, technical drawings, material exploration, and executed projects is required.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
