Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to independently manage the complete on-site execution of residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for all site activities from site commencement to final handover, including planning, supervision, quality control, labour management, vendor coordination, material management, client communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Complete Site Management

- Take full responsibility for all activities carried out at the project site.
- Manage the project from initial site handover through execution, snag rectification and final client handover.
- Remain available at the project site during active working hours.
- Open and close the site as required and ensure proper security of materials, tools and completed work.
- Ensure daily site activities are carried out according to the approved schedule.

2. Site Planning and Execution

- Study approved architectural drawings, interior drawings, electrical drawings, plumbing drawings, BOQ and specifications before starting work.
- Verify all site measurements before production, procurement and installation.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly execution plans.
- Plan the required labour, materials, tools and vendors in advance.
- Coordinate the proper sequence of different activities to avoid delays and rework.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and client requirements.

3. Supervision of Interior Works

Supervise and coordinate all residential and commercial interior activities, including:

- Civil modification and masonry works
- Waterproofing and tiling works
- Carpentry and modular furniture installation
- False ceiling and gypsum partition works
- Electrical and lighting works
- Plumbing and sanitary works
- HVAC and ventilation coordination
- Glass and aluminium works
- Flooring and carpet installation
- Painting, polishing and texture works
- Wallpaper, wall panelling and decorative finishes
- Doors, windows and hardware installation
- Kitchen, wardrobe, TV unit and other customised furniture works
- Final cleaning and handover activities

4. Labour and Subcontractor Management

- Allocate daily work to supervisors, technicians and labour teams.
- Monitor labour attendance, productivity and workmanship.
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, masons and other subcontractors.




- Explain drawings and work requirements clearly to the execution teams.
- Ensure adequate manpower is available according to the project schedule.
- Verify subcontractor measurements and completed work quantities.
- Prevent idle labour time and unnecessary labour expenses.

5. Material Management

- Prepare material requirement lists and purchase requests in advance.
- Follow up with the purchase team and vendors for timely material delivery.
- Check the quantity, quality, brand and specification of materials delivered to the site.
- Maintain material inward, consumption, balance and wastage records.
- Arrange proper storage and protection of materials at the site.
- Prevent material shortage, damage, theft and unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate the return of excess or damaged materials.

6. Quality Control

- Inspect all work regularly and ensure the required quality standards are maintained.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, finish, joint quality and installation accuracy.
- Verify samples and finishes before bulk execution.
- Ensure only approved materials are used at the site.
- Identify defective work and arrange immediate rectification.
- Avoid rework through proper checking and supervision.
- Prepare snag lists and close all pending items before handover.

7. Site Documentation and Reporting

- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Record daily labour attendance and work completed.
- Take and submit site progress photographs and videos.
- Update all project progress in the company’s site management application.
- Maintain approved drawings, work orders, material records and inspection reports at the site.
- Report delays, technical issues, client changes and additional works immediately.
- Prepare measurements and quantity details for client and subcontractor billing.
- Maintain proper records of client-approved changes and additional work.

8. Client and Team Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, project managers, vendors and subcontractors.
- Attend site meetings and provide accurate progress updates.




- Discuss technical issues with the design and project teams before execution.
- Obtain approval for samples, materials, finishes and site modifications.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and address their site-related concerns.
- Ensure no work outside the approved scope is carried out without written approval.

9. Project Completion and Handover

- Conduct internal inspections before client inspection.
- Prepare and complete the final snag list.
- Coordinate testing of electrical, plumbing and other installed systems.
- Arrange final cleaning and removal of excess materials and debris.
- Collect warranties, manuals and handover documents.
- Ensure smooth and timely handover of the completed project.
- Obtain client completion confirmation after closing all pending items.

Qualification and Experience

- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and commercial interior project execution.
- Candidates must have practical experience in independently managing complete site activities.
- Experience in multiple-site management will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of residential and commercial interior execution
- Ability to read architectural, interior and MEP drawings
- Knowledge of site measurement and quantity calculation

- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Leadership, planning and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple activities

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
- Candidate should be responsible, disciplined and capable of independently handling the site.
- Candidate must provide regular progress reports and remain accountable for all on-site activities.

Pay: ₹10,951.00 - ₹37,696.15 per month
