INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE OPERATOR Job Title: Injection Molding Machine Operator Department: Production Reports To: Production Supervisor / Production Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Rotational Shift Job Description The Injection Molding Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to manufacture plastic components according to production requirements, product specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures. The operator is responsible for ensuring smooth machine operation, maintaining consistent product quality, achieving daily production targets, and reporting any machine or process-related issues to the supervisor. The operator is responsible for setting and monitoring machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, and cycle time. They must ensure that the correct raw material is used for production and check the machine, mold, and auxiliary equipment before starting the production process. The operator should continuously monitor the molding process and make basic parameter adjustments within authorized limits to maintain reliable production. The operator is also responsible for inspecting finished components through visual and basic dimensional checks and identifying defects such as flash, short shot, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and color variation. Any quality issues or abnormal production conditions must be immediately reported to the Production or Quality team. The operator must maintain production records, including production quantity, rejection quantity, scrap,



machine downtime, and other required information. They are also responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping, following 5S practices, and ensuring that the work area and machine remain clean and organized. The operator must follow all company safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working. They may also perform basic cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance activities as instructed. Any machine breakdown, abnormal noise, leakage, or other technical issue should be reported immediately to the Maintenance or Production Supervisor. The operator is expected to coordinate with the Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments to ensure smooth production operations. They must properly handle, inspect, pack, label, and transfer finished products as per company requirements while maintaining quality, productivity, safety, and discipline at the workplace. Qualification & Skills The candidate should have a minimum qualification of 10th/12th pass, ITI, or Diploma, preferably with experience in injection molding operations. Basic knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, plastic materials, quality inspection, 5S, safety procedures, and production processes is preferred. The candidate should have good teamwork, communication, observation, and problem-solving skills and should be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
