Job Summary

Job Description - ServiceNow ITOM Developer\\r\\nExperience: 4–7+ Years\\r\\nRole Type: Development / IT Operations Management\\r\\nRole Overview\\r\\nWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Developer to design, implement, and support IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on enabling infrastructure visibility, accurate CMDB, and operational automation through Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management, while adhering to enterprise governance and ITIL best practices.\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\nKey Responsibilities\\r\\n• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, including: \\r\\no Discovery (On prem and Cloud)\\r\\no Service Mapping\\r\\no Event Management\\r\\no Orchestration / Cloud Management (as applicable)\\r\\n• Maintain and optimize the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, CI relationships, and compliance with governance standards.\\r\\n• Configure and manage Discovery schedules, credentials, probes, and patterns.\\r\\n• Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with monitoring and third party enterprise tools.\\r\\n• Implement event rules, alerts, and automation to improve incident detection and response.\\r\\n• Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.\\r\\n• Support platform upgrades,



patches, BAU activities, and defect resolution.\\r\\n• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and configuration records.\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\nRequired Skills & Experience\\r\\n• Strong hands on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.\\r\\n• Proven expertise in CMDB, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns.\\r\\n• Experience with Service Mapping and Event Management.\\r\\n• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API (PowerShell/Python is an added advantage).\\r\\n• Experience integrating with monitoring tools such as SCOM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Nagios, or similar.\\r\\n• Good understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes.\\r\\n• Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\\r\\n________________________________________\\r\\nPreferred Certifications\\r\\n• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM\\r\\n• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)\\r\\n• Discovery certification is highly preferred for ITOM roles\\r\\n
