Job Summary

SUDEV WOOD TECH is looking for a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer – 2D & 3D with strong knowledge of the modular furniture and interior industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, 3D designs, furniture layouts, working drawings, and coordinating with the production and project teams to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare professional 2D layouts, detailed working drawings, elevations, sections, and furniture drawings.
- Develop accurate and realistic 3D interior designs and furniture models as per project requirements.
- Design modular furniture including wardrobes, kitchens, TV units, office furniture, cabinets, counters, beds, tables, and other customized furniture.
- Prepare detailed drawings suitable for production, cutting, fabrication, and site installation.
- Understand materials, hardware, finishes, dimensions, and construction methods used in modular furniture.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Purchase, Site and Installation Teams.
- Convert client requirements and concepts into practical and commercially viable designs.
- Make design modifications based on client, management, production, or site requirements.
- Ensure proper measurements, dimensions, material specifications, and detailing in drawings.
- Assist the production team in resolving design and technical issues.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare drawings based on actual site conditions whenever required.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, BOQs, and design specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree/Certificate in Interior Design,



Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D Interior Designing.
- Good working knowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Revit, or equivalent software.
- Strong practical knowledge of the modular furniture manufacturing industry is mandatory/preferred.
- Good understanding of MDF, HDHMR, plywood, laminates, veneer, acrylic, glass, hardware, channels, hinges, profiles, and other furniture materials.
- Ability to understand and interpret architectural and furniture drawings.
- Good knowledge of furniture dimensions, construction details, fabrication methods, and installation requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects.

Preferred Experience

1–4 years of relevant experience in Interior Design, Modular Furniture, Furniture Manufacturing, or Interior Execution.

Candidates with strong practical knowledge of modular furniture production and site execution will be given preference.
