Job Title: Automobile Technician / Service Technician

Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair

- Diagnose engine, electrical, AC, suspension, brake and other mechanical issues

- Perform general service, periodic maintenance and major repairs as per job card

- Use diagnostic tools and scanners for fault finding

2. Quality Work

- Follow company standard repair procedures and quality norms

- Ensure first-time-right repairs and minimize rework

- Take vehicles for test drive after repair and confirm rectification

3. Maintenance & Housekeeping

- Maintain tools, equipment and bay cleanliness

- Follow 5S, safety and PPE guidelines in workshop

- Report any tool/equipment damage to Floor Supervisor

4. Documentation

- Update job status to Floor Supervisor/Service Advisor





- Note parts used, time taken and work completed in job card

5. Customer Satisfaction

- Ensure quality work for on-time delivery

- Support in PDI, warranty jobs and insurance repairs

Key Skills Required

- Technical skills in Engine, Electrical, Suspension, Brake, AC systems

- Knowledge of tools and diagnostic scanners

- Good hands-on experience in 4-wheeler / 2-wheeler as per brand

- Team player with basic communication in Malayalam/English
