Job Description

We are looking for a QC cum Inspection Engineer with relevant experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection, electrical testing, documentation and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Control

- Develop and implement quality control procedures for electrical panel manufacturing.
- Inspect incoming raw materials such as copper busbars, electrical components, enclosures and wiring materials.
- Conduct in-process inspections during fabrication, assembly, wiring and testing.
- Perform final quality inspection before dispatch.
- Ensure panels meet approved drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify defects and coordinate with the production team for corrective action.

Testing & Compliance

- Conduct electrical testing including:
- Continuity Test
- Insulation Resistance Test
- High Voltage / Hi-Pot Test
- Functional Testing
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, UL and customer-specific standards.
- Maintain calibration records of testing and measuring equipment.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare Quality Inspection Reports, Test Reports and NCRs.
- Maintain records of quality audits, customer complaints and corrective actions.




- Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation of CAPA.

Process Improvement & Audit

- Identify quality issues and suggest process improvements.
- Conduct internal quality audits.
- Assist in ISO certification and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Customer Support

- Address customer concerns related to product quality.
- Provide technical support for quality-related issues.
- Coordinate with Sales & Service teams for post-installation quality assessments.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Communication or Instrumentation & Control.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electrical testing and inspection procedures.
- Positive understanding of electrical components, wiring and panel assembly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Candidates from Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Switchgear / Control Panel industries will be preferred.
