Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Accountant to join a Dubai-based company at its Avadi, Chennai location.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in logistics.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally/Tally Prime.
- Experience handling USD and foreign-currency transactions.
- Strong knowledge of AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and general accounting.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates available to join immediately or within 15 days are preferred.

Key Responsibilities





- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain financial records.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Handle USD and foreign-currency transactions.
- Track logistics-related expenses and financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting records using Zoho Books and Tally.
- Assist with monthly closing, audits, VAT, and compliance activities.
