THE ROLE

We're looking for a Senior Video Producer / Senior Video Editor who is a true craftsperson, someone who doesn't just cut footage, but 'tells stories' with precision, intention, and mastery.

This role demands creative ownership at every level.

You'll shoot, direct, edit, and lead a team of editors to transform raw footage into compelling, publish-ready content. You'll set the creative standard, make bold editorial decisions, and mentor others to achieve the same level of craftsmanship. This is for someone who takes high agency, thinks independently and refuses to ship mediocrity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Edit videos to a professional, publish-ready standard with a keen eye for pacing, rhythm and emotional impact.
- Shoot and direct video content on-site, understanding composition, lighting and performance capture.
- Lead, mentor, and creatively direct a team of editors toward consistent, high quality output.
- Own projects end-to-end, from pre-production: vision → shooting → editing → final delivery.
- Make bold creative decisions: color grading, sound design, music selection, graphics integration, and visual storytelling.
- Build structured workflows that enable your team to maintain quality while scaling efficiency.
- Elevate storytelling through deep understanding of rhythm, timing, continuity and emotional pacing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Craft :

✓ 5+ years of qualified video editing experience (with demonstrable portfolio

work backing every claim).

✓ 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or directing a team of editors.

✓ Highly skilled in the art of storytelling, with portfolio evidence that proves it.

✓ Strong, demonstrable body of professional work you're proud to show.

✓ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mastery expected, not "familiarity").

✓ Adobe After Effects experience is a plus.

Mindset & Work Ethic :





✓ High agency, you take ownership and figure things out without needing step by step guidance.

✓ Continuous learner, you actively upgrade your skills and stay current with the craft.

SELECTION PROCESS

Stage 1: Portfolio Review (Mandatory)

A portfolio is mandatory. If you don't have one demonstrating professional work, your application won't be considered. Your portfolio should clearly show:

- Your editing ability and storytelling vision
- Cut sense, pacing, and rhythm mastery
- Creative decision-making (color, sound, graphics, music)
- Production quality and professionalism
- Range across different content types (if applicable)

Stage 2: Editing Test (For Shortlisted Candidates)

You'll receive raw assets and briefing,



and have 24 hours to create a finished short or reel. This evaluates your real-world workflow, creative judgment, musicality, storytelling, and quality standards under realistic constraints.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor's degree in Filmmaking, Visual Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred. However, Exceptional professional experience and a strong, demonstrable portfolio can absolutely compensate for formal education. We evaluate on craft and capability, not credentials alone.
