Duties & responsibilities:

SCADA System Development & Configuration:

- Develop, design, and implement SCADA applications using ICONICS GENESIS64, MCWorks64, Ellipse, or other SCADA platforms, ensuring they meet the requirements of the operation.
- Configure, develop, and maintain SCADA HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Customize SCADA screens, control panels, and alarms, ensuring the systems are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with operational needs.

Data Integration & SQL Database Management:

- Design and implement data acquisition systems to gather data from various sources and integrate them into the SCADA platform.
- Develop and manage SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for efficient data retrieval, storage, and reporting.
- Optimize database performance for large-scale industrial data, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.

Communication Protocols & Technologies:

- DeviceXPlorer OPC Server (Takebishi), OPC UA, Modbus (RTU/TCP), SNMP, TCP/IP, BACnet.
- IoT (Internet of Things), MQTT Protocol.

Programming Languages:

- Jscript.NET (Intermediate)
- VB Script (Intermediate)
- C# (Basic)
- Python (Basic)

Report Generation & Automation:

- Design and implement automated report generation using SCADA systems, including data logging, analysis, and real-time reporting.
- Worked on EntSightx and Itanta reporting tools for generating reports.
- Develop custom reports based on operational requirements and deliver actionable insights to management and other stakeholders.




- Integrate reporting tools with SCADA systems for data visualization, trend analysis, and decision-making support.

System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SCADA systems, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and conducting system upgrades.
- Ensure SCADA systems are running at optimal performance, diagnosing any potential issues related to data communication, hardware, or software.
- Respond to and resolve SCADA alarms, system failures, or performance bottlenecks to ensure system reliability and availability.

Collaboration & Documentation:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operators, and IT personnel, to ensure seamless integration of SCADA systems into the overall control infrastructure.
- Document the SCADA design, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure proper knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users on SCADA systems and report generation processes.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure SCADA systems adhere to industry standards, regulations, and best practices for safety, performance, and security.




- Implement appropriate security protocols for data protection and system access control within the SCADA infrastructure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Automation & mechanised automation, digital technology

- Proficiency in SCADA development, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with report generation and integration of reporting tools within SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA design principles and data visualization techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with SCADA systems and databases.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of other SCADA systems such as Wonderware, Ignition.
- Experience with cloud-based SCADA systems or IoT integration.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC, or DNP3.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices related to SCADA systems and industrial control networks.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
