About the Role

We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and customer-focused Café Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our café. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth café operations, managing staff, maintaining service and hygiene standards, monitoring inventory, and providing an excellent customer experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the café efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure the café is fully prepared before opening hours.
- Supervise and coordinate café staff, including servers, baristas, kitchen and bakery staff.
- Prepare and manage daily staff duty schedules and ensure proper attendance.
- Monitor staff performance, discipline, grooming, hygiene, and punctuality.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Monitor café cleanliness, housekeeping, dining area, counter, kitchen and washroom standards.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, bakery, barista and service teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor food and beverage quality and ensure company standards are followed.
- Check stock levels of food, beverages, packaging materials and other café supplies.
- Coordinate with the purchase/accounts team regarding stock requirements and shortages.
- Monitor wastage, breakage and unnecessary consumption of products.
- Ensure proper billing and POS/Petpooja operations.
- Check daily sales, cash handling and payment records.
- Maintain daily operational reports and communicate important issues to management.
- Ensure all café SOPs,



hygiene standards and company policies are strictly followed.
- Assist in staff training and guide employees regarding their duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed every day.
- Coordinate with management regarding promotions, special offers and café events.
- Take responsibility for the overall discipline and smooth functioning of the café.
- Perform multitasking duties whenever required for the smooth operation of the café.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with previous experience as a Café Manager, Restaurant Manager, Shift Manager, Floor Manager or Supervisor will be preferred.

Freshers with solid communication, leadership skills and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
