Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Engineer with strong knowledge of SolidWorks and mechanical machine design to design, develop, modify, and improve components, assemblies, and complete machinery. The candidate will work closely with production, fabrication, assembly, and other engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing.

Responsibilities & Duties

Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

- Design machine components, parts, assemblies, and mechanisms as per project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical design, materials, fits, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with production and assembly teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Review existing designs and suggest improvements for quality, performance, cost, and ease of manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate required design changes.
- Ensure drawings and designs are accurate and meet applicable engineering standards and specifications.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.




- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for technical requirements when required.
- Maintain proper revision control of drawings and design documents.
- Support installation, troubleshooting, and technical improvements related to machine design when required.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Key Skills

- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical / Machine Design.
- Knowledge of machine components such as shafts, gears, bearings, couplings, fasteners, etc.
- Knowledge of fits, tolerances, materials, and fabrication methods.
- Good understanding of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM preparation and engineering documentation.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

Qualification & Experience

· Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

· Experience: 3–6 years preferred
