We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Project Estimator to join our expanding team. This position represents a great opportunity to be involved with commercial construction projects that utilise the most up to date construction techniques in the sector. There are excellent opportunities to develop in the role and always new and challenging projects to work on.
Responsibilities:
- Project Estimator in a busy Precast Office
- Preparation of monthly valuations
- Liaising with both recent and existing clients regarding potential opportunities.
- Price new projects coming into the office as they arrive
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must possess a qualification in Construction Management with some quantity surveying elements
- Have experience and proficiency with estimating
- Focus and drive to work towards and achieve results against defined deadlines
- Excellent client relationship management skills and confidence to communicate with clients at all levels
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is essential
- Experience using CUBIT software would be a distinct advantage although training will be provided
