The Group Head – Ad Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth across the ZEE Kannada portfolio. The role requires strong leadership in client relationship management, sales strategy, and market expansion targeting the Kannada audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Leadership

- Own and deliver annual / quarterly revenue targets
- Maximize monetization through ad inventory pricing, yield management, and packaging strategies
- Drive growth across TV + Digital + Branded Content + Integrated Sales

2. Strategic Sales Planning

- Define and execute go-to-market strategies
- Identify new revenue streams
- Develop creative ad solutions and customized client offerings

3. Client & Agency Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key advertisers, media agencies, and brand stakeholders
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on regional reach and consumer engagement




- Lead negotiations for high-value deals and partnerships

4. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead a high-performing sales team
- Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and drive accountability
- Mentor, coach, and build future sales leaders

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely across Revenue function, and cross-functional teams
- Align ad sales strategy with content roadmap and audience insights
- Support execution of large-scale IPs, events, and sponsorship opportunities

6. Market Intelligence & Insights

- Track market trends, competitor activities, and category spends
- Leverage BARC data, client insights, and analytics to drive sales decisions
