We Are Hiring – Automobile Manager

Location: Bhilai, Chhattisgarh
Job Type: Full time
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Experience: 7-10 years

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Automobile Manager to manage overall automobile operations, team coordination, service/workshop activities, and business performance.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of trucks , cranes troubleshooting, breakdown diagnosis, and workshop operations..

Key responsibilities:

1. Fleet maintenance & availability — preventive/predictive/breakdown maintenance of HEMM, cranes, tippers and vehicles; workshop, spares and AMC/OEM management to maximise uptime

2. Diesel/fuel management — monitor and control diesel consumption (per-km / per-hour norms), curb pilferage, and maintain fuel MIS and cost per vehicle

3. Operators & drivers — deployment/rostering, attendance, discipline, training, licensing and safety

4. Statutory & compliance — RTO registrations/permits, insurance, fitness, PUC,



road tax and vehicle documentation

5. Cost & MIS — fleet operating-cost control, spares inventory, logbooks/trip records, and maintenance/fuel MIS Skill 1 — Technical HEMM / vehicle maintenance management

Qualification:

1. Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering Qualification .Certification in fleet/transport management; heavy-vehicle/HEMM familiarity

2. Hands-on diesel/fuel consumption control and fleet cost management

3. Has managed a team of operators/drivers and workshop crew

4. Knowledge of vehicle statutory compliance (RTO, permits, insurance, fitness, PUC)

Good-to-have :

Integrated steel plant / heavy-industry fleet exposure; spares inventory & AMC management; GPS/telematics / fleet-management software
