Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer – Rubber Recycling & Tyre Manufacturing who can manage and improve day-to-day production activities, machine utilization, manpower productivity, process control, quality and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and preferably exposure to rubber processing, tyre manufacturing, rubber recycling, extrusion, mixing, grinding, shredding, vulcanization or related industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor and control daily production activities.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Monitor production machines, manpower, materials and output.
- Improve machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Reduce production losses, rejection, downtime and material wastage.
- Monitor rubber processing and manufacturing parameters.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores and Purchase departments.
- Identify production problems and implement corrective actions.
- Perform root-cause analysis for production issues.
- Maintain production reports, shift reports and process records.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety procedures.
- Monitor 5S, housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Support preventive maintenance activities.
- Monitor raw-material consumption and production yield.
- Train and guide production operators and supervisors.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous-improvement activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of production activities.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.

- Manufacturing Engineering
- Polymer / Rubber Technology
- Other relevant engineering disciplines

Experience

Preferred: 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing/production.

Candidates with strong practical knowledge of rubber, tyre, plastic, polymer, chemical or heavy manufacturing plants may also be considered.

Pay: ₹25,500.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
