Position: Architect – Interior Design & Modular Furniture
Location: Dindoli, Surat
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible as per client requirement)
Compensation: Upto ₹35,000 per month + Incentives

Role Summary
The Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing interior projects with a specialization in modular furniture. The role requires translating client requirements into functional and aesthetic designs, preparing quotations and quantity estimates, and ensuring timely project delivery. The Architect will collaborate with clients, vendors, and site teams to maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interior Design & Planning
 Develop creative and functional layouts for residential and commercial spaces.
 Prepare detailed architectural drawings, 2D/3D models, and design presentations.
 Ensure designs align with client requirements, budget, and timelines.

2. Modular Furniture Design
 Plan and design modular furniture solutions (kitchens, wardrobes, office setups, storage units).
 Create technical drawings and specifications for production and installation.
 Ensure ergonomic, aesthetic, and space-productive designs.

3. Quotation & Quantity Estimation
 Prepare accurate quotations and bills of quantity (BOQ).
 Estimate material requirements and costs for modular furniture and interior projects.
 Coordinate with procurement teams for material sourcing.

4. Client Coordination & Project Execution
 Conduct client meetings to understand requirements and present design proposals.
 Obtain approvals and manage design revisions.
 Supervise site execution, ensuring adherence to design,



quality, and timelines.
 Liaise with vendors, contractors, and site teams for smooth project delivery.

5. Quality & Compliance
 Ensure all designs meet industry standards and safety regulations.
 Maintain documentation of design approvals, quotations, and project progress.
 Monitor project execution to minimize defects and rework.

Required Skills & Competencies
 Strong knowledge of interior design principles and modular furniture systems.
 Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar design software.
 Ability to prepare quotations, BOQs, and technical drawings.
 Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
 Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving ability.
 Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Qualification
 Degree/Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design.

Experience
 3–6 years of experience in interior design and modular furniture projects preferred.
 Prior exposure to residential/commercial projects will be an added advantage.

Reporting Structure
 Reports To: Management / Project Head
 Coordinates With: Clients, Vendors, Site Teams
