What You'll Be Doing

- Research private and pre-IPO companies to understand their business, funding, valuation,

growth, and competitive position.

- Evaluate investment opportunities and identify key insights, risks, and growth potential.
- Research funding rounds, valuations, investors, leadership, competitors, and market trends.
- Source and verify information using platforms such as PitchBook, Crunchbase, Caplight,

Forge, EquityZen, public filings, and industry sources.

- Track and maintain research on companies and emerging pre-IPO opportunities.
- Convert detailed research into clear and engaging investor newsletters and research reports.
- Stay updated on venture capital, private markets, startups, funding activity, and pre-IPO

trends.

- Build relationships with VCs, brokers,



and industry professionals to improve access to market

information.

What You Bring to the Table

- Experience in Venture Capital (VC), Equity Research, Private Markets Research, or

Investment Analysis.

- Strong understanding of company analysis, valuation, funding rounds, and investment

opportunities.

- Experience researching startups, private companies, or pre-IPO businesses.
- Solid analytical, research, and financial data interpretation skills.
- Familiarity with PitchBook, Crunchbase, orsimilar financial/private-market research

platforms.

- Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information

clearly.

- Ability to independently research, verify information, and develop investment insights.
- Strong attention to detail and genuine interest in startups, VC, private markets, and pre-IPO

companies
