Purchase Engineer
Responsibilities and Duties

- Analyze and evaluate suppliers to select suitable vendors offering high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding cost, quality, lead time, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule, and quality.
- Develop purchasing and sourcing strategies based on market analysis, supplier performance, and business requirements.
- Maintain documented supplier strategies using market and competitive information.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost-saving targets.
- Review and manage the supplier base in line with the company's sourcing strategy.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare monthly purchase and supplier performance reports.




- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

- Valuable computer knowledge

- Ability to analyze quotations and compare prices

Required Experience and Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Experience: Fresher to 3 years

· Candidates with experience in Purchase/Procurement, supplier handling, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase coordination will be preferred.
