Job Description – Education Counsellor

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Education Counsellor to guide students and parents in selecting suitable courses, colleges, universities, and career pathways. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to achieve admission and enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, colleges, universities, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ academic backgrounds, interests, career goals, and requirements.
- Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility criteria, admission processes, fees, scholarships, and timelines.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels.
- Convert leads into student admissions/enrolments and achieve monthly targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing students.
- Assist students with the application and admission process and coordinate with relevant departments.




- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM/other systems.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions.
- Handle student queries and resolve concerns professionally.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counselling, interpersonal, and convincing abilities.
- Valuable listening and problem-solving skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- A degree/diploma in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Management, or a related field is an advantage.

Experience

- Freshers with excellent communication skills can apply.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
