Job Summary

Gaj Group is looking for a Collection Executive to manage customer payment follow-ups and collections for our real estate plotting projects.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely customer payments as per agreed payment plans, maintaining outstanding records, regular follow-ups, and coordinating with the Sales, CRM and Accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Follow up with customers for pending and upcoming payments as per agreed payment schedules.
- Handle customer payment plans such as 3-month, 6-month and other installment plans.
- Maintain customer-wise payment due dates and outstanding balances.
- Make regular follow-ups through phone calls, WhatsApp and personal meetings when required.
- Maintain daily records of customer follow-ups, commitments and payment status.
- Track overdue payments and ensure timely recovery.
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance Team for payment confirmation and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with the Sales and CRM Teams regarding customer payment commitments.
- Prepare daily and weekly collection reports / MIS.
- Inform customers about upcoming payment due dates and pending amounts.
- Maintain proper records of customer commitments, payment promises and follow-up history.
- Handle customer queries related to payments, outstanding amounts and payment schedules.




- Escalate long-pending and high-value outstanding cases to the Collection Manager / Management.
- Support the team in achieving monthly and project-wise collection targets.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with customers while ensuring timely recovery.

Required Skills

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in maintaining Collection MIS / Outstanding Reports.
- Ability to manage multiple customers and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Good coordination skills with Sales, CRM and Accounts teams.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in Real Estate Collection / Customer Payment / Recovery will be preferred.
- Experience in Plotting / Land Development Projects will be an added advantage.
- Candidates who have handled customer installment payments and overdue collections will be preferred.
