Roles and Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Biotechnology courses as per the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, laboratory manuals, and assessment tools.
- Conduct theory, laboratory, tutorials, and practical sessions effectively.
- Guide and mentor students in academic, laboratory, and project activities.
- Assist students with internships, mini-projects, and final-year projects.
- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, internal assessment marks, and other departmental documentation.
- Contribute to accreditation, ranking, NBA, NAAC, AICTE, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Engage in research, consultancy, funded projects, publications, and professional development activities.
- Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, conferences, FDPs, and student development programs.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities and additional duties assigned by the Head of the Department or Management.
- Foster industry interaction, collaborative activities,



and innovation initiatives within the department.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with M.Tech/M.E. qualifications are encouraged to apply.

- Only M.E./M.Tech in Biotechnology or a relevant allied discipline from a recognized university.
- First Class in Bachelor's and Master's Degree.
- Strong subject knowledge and laboratory handling skills.
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior teaching, research, or industry experience will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioprocess technology, microbiology, bioinformatics, and related areas.
- Proficiency in contemporary laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Ability to guide student projects and participate in interdisciplinary research.
- Familiarity with outcome-based education (OBE) and accreditation requirements.

Pay: ₹15,527.40 - ₹34,543.78 per month
