Electrical Project Engineer – 11kV / 33kV & Transformer

Location: Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu
Industry: Industrial / Construction Projects

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with hands-on experience in 11kV & 33kV HT electrical systems, substations, transformers, and electrical project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise 11kV and 33kV electrical works at project sites.
- Handle installation, testing, and commissioning of HT panels, RMUs, VCBs, transformers, cable trays, and HT/LT cables.
- Supervise transformer installation, testing, commissioning, and related electrical works.
- Coordinate HT cable laying, termination, jointing, and testing.
- Manage substation installation and electrical distribution works.
- Coordinate with electrical subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQ, specifications, and material requirements.
- Monitor site progress, quality, manpower, and project schedules.
- Coordinate and support HT equipment testing and commissioning.
- Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and electrical safety.




- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and applicable electrical regulations.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+years of experience in electrical project execution.
- Strong hands-on experience in 11kV / 33kV systems, substations and transformers.
- Experience in industrial projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of HT/LT systems, SLDs, cable sizing, testing and commissioning.
- Experience in subcontractor and manpower management.
- Good communication and site coordination skills.
- Willingness to work at the project site.
