Sales Assistant – Chikankari & Fashion Business

Job Summary
We are looking for a smart, confident and customer-friendly Sales Assistant to join our Chikankari business. The candidate will assist customers in choosing the right Chikankari fabrics and products, handle enquiries, follow up with customers and help generate sales through online and offline channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, phone calls and website.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable Chikankari fabrics, sarees, kurta fabrics, dupattas and other products.
- Explain product details including fabric, embroidery, colour, size, price and availability.
- Follow up with customers who have shown interest in products.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders and maintain proper customer communication.
- Assist customers before and after purchase and provide a smooth shopping experience.
- Coordinate with the packing/dispatch team regarding confirmed orders.
- Maintain basic records of customer enquiries, follow-ups and sales.
- Help showcase new products and offers to customers through WhatsApp and social media.




- Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Maintain proper knowledge of the products and authentic Lucknow Chikankari.

Candidate Requirements

- Positive communication skills and a polite, customer-friendly personality.
- Interest in fashion, textiles, Chikankari and traditional Indian crafts.
- Comfortable communicating with customers on WhatsApp and social media.
- Basic computer and smartphone knowledge.
- Ability to explain products confidently and professionally.
- Good follow-up and sales skills.
- Previous experience in sales, fashion, textile or retail business will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn can also apply.
