Role Overview

Makeolix Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern who is eager to learn and build practical experience in Search Engine Optimization.

The candidate will get hands-on exposure to On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Keyword Research, Content Optimization, Link Building, Competitor Analysis, and basic Technical SEO while working on live client projects.

Key Responsibilities On-Page SEO

- Assist in optimizing website pages, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and content.
- Conduct keyword research and assist in implementing targeted keywords.
- Support internal linking and website structure optimization.
- Coordinate with the content team for blog and landing page optimization.
- Identify basic on-page SEO issues and assist in resolving them.

Off-Page SEO

- Assist with link-building and backlink generation activities.
- Work on guest posting, directory submissions, business listings, and other off-page activities.
- Research relevant websites and opportunities for quality backlinks.
- Monitor and maintain backlink profiles.
- Assist in competitor backlink research.

General SEO Activities

- Conduct basic competitor and keyword analysis.
- Monitor keyword rankings and website performance.
- Assist in using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.




- Prepare basic SEO reports and maintain daily/weekly activity records.
- Support the SEO team with basic technical SEO tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals.
- Understanding of On-Page and Off-Page SEO.
- Basic knowledge of keyword research and link-building.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is preferred.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop SEO skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certification or coursework in Digital Marketing / SEO.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with any academic, internship, or personal SEO project experience will be preferred.
- Candidates who have completed a Digital Marketing course are encouraged to apply.
