About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Web Author to manage, update, and publish content across websites and digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of CMS platforms, basic HTML/CSS, web content management, SEO, and quality checking.

Web-authoring roles commonly involve creating and updating web pages through CMS platforms, formatting content, managing digital assets, checking pages after publishing, and collaborating with designers and developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, edit, format, and publish website content using CMS platforms.
- Update website pages, text, images, videos, documents, and other digital assets.
- Ensure content is properly formatted and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Manage page layouts and content components within the CMS.
- Perform content quality checks and page validation before and after publishing.
- Coordinate with content, design, development, and marketing teams.
- Follow content structure, naming conventions, and web publishing standards.
- Perform basic SEO optimization, including headings, metadata, keywords, and links.
- Identify and report content or webpage issues.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and freshness of website content.
- Assist with website content migration and updates when required.




- Manage multiple content requests and meet publishing deadlines.

Required Skills

- Basic to valuable knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, AEM, Drupal, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of website content management and publishing.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword optimization.
- Good proofreading and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Good to Have

- Experience with WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or other CMS platforms.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript.
- Familiarity with image editing tools.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics or other website analytics tools.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Experience working with web pages, landing pages, and digital assets.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in BCA, B.Tech, Computer Science, IT, Digital Marketing, English, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Freshers can apply if they have relevant CMS/web-authoring knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a quality-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn new CMS tools and web technologies.
