You will work closely with the Director of Finance, who leads strategic planning and operational finance, while you ensure the financial foundation is accurate, timely, and scalable.What You Will DoLeadmonth-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPreparefinancial statements, reconciliations, and management reportsOverseeday-to-day accounting operations : AP, AR, payroll, and HST filingsSupervise and supportFinancial Analyst(s)and payroll processesEnsuredata integrity and financial controlsacross systems (QuickBooks, Ceridian, etc.)Partner with business teams to supportmonthly variance analysis and performance insightsAssist inbudgeting and forecasting, working closely with the Director of FinanceSupportexternal auditsand maintain compliance with regulatory requirementsIdentify opportunities toimprove processes, reduce costs, and scale systemsWhat We’re Looking ForCA designation is preferred.5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting,
